Inspired by a 1920s “Poppies” quilt, this 3-hour workshop is perfect for beginners or seasoned stitchers. Using minimal supplies, learn needleturn appliqué using bold red and green fabrics to create a 12" block. Big, easy-to-handle shapes make it stress-free and satisfying. You can choose to set the Poppy vertically or diagonally in the block. You will leave with the skills and confidence to finish the block at your own pace. All Stitching Done by Hand. All Levels

In this workshop, it’s all about your favorite things. Using a heart design, you choose novelty prints or just some of your favorite fabrics to showcase some of your favorite things. There are no small appliques to stitch down. Instead, your favorite motifs are cut from a printed fabric. Then, using the motif outline as a guide, you use a simple hand stitch to sew the motifs onto a background. This is a fun, creative workshop to introduce you to the Broderie Perse appliqué technique.
